Hi,

I wonder if someone would be able to offer me some advice on how to work within any airside/customer facing positions at Luton Airport.

I regularly check the Luton Airport website and have sent various mails to Menzies who have me CV on file.

Working in aviation has always been something that I would love to do, however trying to get a job in Luton has been very difficult. I hold 14 awards for Customer Service with my current company, to use these awards in a job within a airport would be fantastic and my dream.
I would also be more than happy to work within any of the offices at Luton for a airline.
Ideally I just want to work in a role that involves aviation.

I do apologise if this is not something that i should be writing on here and have no problems for this post to be deleted.

On the other hand, if this is allowed, i would be so grateful for anyone’s advice, should that be either a response in the forum or to send me a personal message.

I would move closer to LHR and try there. I was in Luton airport this year and it had all the charm of a benefits claim office with luggage....... and rather cheap luggage at that.

LHR is somehwere i am able to work too as i live inbetween both airports. Luton was my first option as it is closer.

In my experience this would make you ineligible to work for Luton Airport as customer service is not a recognised attribute for their employees.

I looked at AV-S, but the money they are paying is horrendous.
