Was Lord Coe the only person involved in the logo selection process? Was he even involved in it? How come Craggenmore has just noticed this since the joke has been going around since the winning logo was revealed 5 years ago?

Well, the "jaggy shapes" are meant to be "2012", so you can see the relevance of "London" and the Olympic Rings.

It all kicked off as soon as the logo was announced, with 80% of those who voted in a BBC poll back then giving it the lowest possible rating (since the poll didn't give a negative number out of 10). But the Iranians were the best ones, claiming in 2011 that it didn't say "2012" but said "Zion" and threatened to boycott the Games......

Actually, when I first saw the logo I though it was a representation of a chav kicking someone in the stomach. Something I thought was entirely appropriate for the east end of London.
