Hope the Spanish authorities grant them their wish!!

Interested. Wow! I'm enthralled, amazed, and stupefied by this astounding piece of news. I'm off to the pharmacy to get some tranquilizers.

In fact, I'm travelling on a Monarch flight in a couple of weeks, I wonder if there is a risk I might be involved in a punch-up?

May get a bit more than that if reports from another passenger are correct!Took 7 blokes to subdue him apparently.

Allegedly!

Actually a punter trying to open a door on taxi out is a big deal. The door would open, said pax would exit stage left or right and death would most probably occur. I don't know why at Mon we get the worst punters . Our girls are not bouncers and nice ordinary passengers don't deserve to see that sort of behaviour .

Only way the moron would kill himself if he was considerate enough to disarm the door before leaping out

Yes strange that isnt it. i Just got off one of the a300s from malaga after a horrendous flight. Felt sorry for the CC. Definitely the majority were "pikey pax"
All sorts of idiotic and unsafe behavior going on.

I was on this plane and it did take 7 men to hold him down .
I dont know what he was on I cant accuse but I have my own ideas
I was sat 2 seats behind him 'he went to the front 1st I thought he was trying to use the toilet He walked back seemingly to go back to his seat but then ran to the rear door trying to open it .we were about 30 seconds from being in the air .It wasnt nice

Thanks for that Goldilocks.Hope it didn't upset you too much although it probably did.I guess most passengers would have been too.My source is a very level headed person and I would not have posted had I thought otherwise.

I haven't seen any reports of action taken against the person in question.

What are the legal actions?I assume MON were non too happy to have to delay the flight by nearly 5 hours.

Goldilocks if you are still looking in,I'm told that the person in question was handcuffed, manacled and taken away by the police after trying to get into the driving seat of the police vehicle.

The reason for the long delay for the eventual return was that all crew were questioned by the police including the pilots and several passengers refused to travel back on that aircraft.
