What is wrong with asking the background of EK dispatchers? Maybe the person who posted is interested in getting a job as a dispatcher and wants to know what type of operations/areas of the world EK hires dispatchers from.
Sorry CRJlover, I don't have an answer to your question.....just thought some of the responses strange.

@<hidden>: you are spot on. No need to be sorry.
Anybody has a "unethical" answer.

A few are formally trained as dispatchers and flight followers whom you can trust fully while others have lesser amounts of training.
A flight plan from UAE to India is generally 50+ pages of Notams, some flight plans are "auto dispatched" meaning that there is virtually no human input.
At one gulf carrier, there is no interaction between the people who made the flight plan and those who operate it. Sometimes you can't even reach them on the phone.
The best organized carriers are arranged in a fashion whereby the pilots can be briefed by dispatch in person thus giving way to addressing any concerns (if any) about the route, weather destination etc.
