Ok, the multimillion dollar question, is it cheaper to do an ATPL Groundschool in the States, I would reallt appreciate some feedback on anyone who's either done it or thinking about it? Can you do a JAA one out there and if so is it valid in the UK?
Thank you to anyone who can help!!! :)

No reason why it should be, after paper (probably) costs the same wherever you go.

Must be JAA-approved wherever it is.

Only one place in US do modular ATPL g/s and that's IFT. Click on the banner ad appearing above you.....about.........now for more details.

Suggest you do a pprune search for IFT - there seem to be many diverging opinions about the place.

IFT are a lot cheaper than the UK schools at least for distance learning. Only problem is the distance. You have to do two on-site sessions and it is a tad more costly to get to the middle of Florida versus the middle of Tower Hill.
