Lovely gin-clear day, almost departed without a 'clearing turn' as area behind was prohibited and nothing heard on Safety Comm for last 5-minutes whilst faffing around the cockpit. Age got the better of me and a spot turn revealed an Isle-of-Man registered A109 Power short finals to land (predominantly white with blue and black tail)
Yes, I got the reg and only post as a subtle reminder that regardless of what procedures the airfield operator puts in the numerous VFR guides, there'll always be someone who tries and spoils your day!

PS. This is a Rumour Network and I could have imagined the whole scenario.............and my sensors might have been distracted as they watched a Squirrel dis-gorge a bevvy full of beauties toppling across the grass........
