View Full Version : Dublin ATIS 13370khz 11th Jul 2012, 13:47 Dublin information Xray at 1030 this morning (Wed 11 July) had some unusual "Operational Info". What was it? GAPSTER 12th Jul 2012, 06:20 Is this a quiz? 13370khz 12th Jul 2012, 23:46 No ! "Automatic" voice was unreadable. Depone 22nd Jul 2012, 10:35 Another point: why can't they be bothered to update it more frequently than every hour?! WhichWayIsNorth 22nd Jul 2012, 16:45 From my understanding its because the Metar is only issued hourly in normal operations. If there is a runway or approach change the ATIS should be updated as necessary. 13370khz 26th Jul 2012, 22:31 Dublin METAR issued every 30 mins - on the hour and half hour Telstar 27th Jul 2012, 10:24 Was it the usual taxi hotspots/runway incursions warning? If so I agree it's almost in gibberish. I don't know why they have to use such a robotic voice, would it really be so hard to use a recorded, human voice like at most major airports? |
