The sad news that some poor 53 year old woman was killed in San Diego while camping outside San Diego Convention Centre (she had been camping there for three days) at the Comic-Con event made me ponder that nerds come in all shapes and sizes and many ages.

Don’t get me wrong, I generally like nerds and am often having to face the psychological trauma that I may actually be a closet nerd so I polished my elbow pads and did the test.

Are you man, woman or nerd enough to do the same?

If like ArthurR you are not nerd enough to fix the graphics problem then take this test instead... warning you may still be a nerd! ;)

Arthur R

I am sorry to say that I fall into the nerd group. The fact that you didn't immediately change your computer settings to see your score means that you are definitely not a nerd! ;)

I THINK I'm not a Nerd, but I'm not sure.

What's more alarming, I don't really care.

Your nerdiness is:

Not nerdy, but then again maybe not all that cool either.

Maybe about right. I've never worn sandals.

I used to wear sandals when I was at Infant School.
I've always kept that information secret, until now.

I used to wear sandals when I was at Infant School.

I did too but, I have to confess, my first confession too, with socks.

Never since then, though, with or without.

One always wore socks with school sandals such as these, Davaar.

The fashion faux pas of socks with sandals can only occur in adulthood.

Do you recall that, as a child, every time you got a new pair of shoes you would trip over the toes for a day or two as you got used to their new length?

Can't resolve the pics (could anybody?) so guessed...

Low Ranking Nerd. Definitely a nerd but low on the totem pole of nerds

Good enough, I guess!

can't see the absolute score because the images are broken, but I got
"12% scored higher (more nerdy),
1% scored the same, and
87% scored lower (less nerdy).
What does this mean? Your nerdiness is:
High-Level Nerd. You are definitely MIT material, apply now!!!."
If I could have seen the images I would have topped that

Q37. Do you know how to use a sliderule?

I've got over 60 sliderules.... including one on my watch. And yes, I know how to use them... including the Log-Log scales. :8

Somewhat nerdy. I mean face it, you are nerdier than about half the test takers. And I couldn't see the pictures either.:D
