Big surprise, there is NO Priority Pass Lounge in terminal 4 at LHR.

What to do......

If you're not flying Business of First and don't have an appropriate airline gold card, or whatever, Servisair lounges are a reasonable refuge from the hordes.
I understand that you can book online, of course you have to pay and I'm not sure that you might not have to come out and join the general rabble to queue for what passes as a public convenience at LHR. They don't announce flights in those lounges so don't drink so much that you fall asleep.

There has been no 'public' lounge (i.e. Servisair, etc) at Terminal 4 since the refurbishment/expansion, and it seems there are no plans for there to be one.

My goodness, you're right, 1 & 3 only by the look of things.
What to do? Suffer I suppose.

Accept that Priority Pass lounges are not really that great, and so either fly Business or First next time, or show some loyalty to an airline and get FF status so you can get into their lounges.

Thats a shame. I believe there is a Skyteam lounge right? Air India, Gulf, Malaysian, Qatar and Etihad all have lounges in T4 I think.

mixture.

Unfortunately, most people who have to pay their own way can't afford Business or First Class travel. When I was a frequent flyer I would always go on cost, but always had Priority Pass membership.

Sure, the few times I managed a business class flight, the lounges were of a different standard to Priority, but so they should be, you are paying enough.

On the couple of LH trips a year I now do, I will pay for lounge access and think the £17-20 cost is great value.
