Hi guys, I came across Ventura overseas, a company with head office in Malaysia offering pilot jobs for freshers in Indonesia, please put forward your views, has anyone enrolled and successfully got employed, does anyone know if the company is genuine.

yes $45000 USD includes type rating, visa and arranging work permit.
this is the first venture of this sort for them.
considering we have to pay for our type rating even after getting hired by an indian carrier which is more or less equal to this amount, so is worth it?

hi fellow aviators, well I got an entire training programme from them, the drawback which seems is the entire amount is paid in installments before we leave for Indonesia, I know few companies who ask for the last installment after we clear the simcheck with the airline in Indonesia, venture overseas is cheaper than others and the amount is payable to them in their Malaysian account, which seems a bit dodgy. what to you guys feel?

I had a word with a lady, she was not ready to disclose any airline name or the type rating school they'll be sending us for training. Infact she asked me to bring $16,000 DD/ Cheque when i come for interview in delhi... :ooh:

Coming to Lion air, MSD has an exclusive contract for Indian passport holders. So I dont think guys at ventura overseas even have a clue about recruitments in Indonesia.

I agree. Stay away. Garuda won't hire you. Maybe Lion Air but why would you pay money to work 6 days a week for a blacklisted airline?

How much trust can i place in a company which wants 25 hrs of "Stimulator" time?


For those quick readers. They have written stimulator instead of simulator in their training prospectus.

Does anyone know if all these airlines that they have mentioned hire female pilots or not cause as far as i know lion air doesn't and Indonesia is a muslim country

Well, Lion Air not hiring Women Pilots has nothing to do with religion. There are plenty of women pilots flying with Garuda, Sriwijaya, Batavia, Air Asia. Lion dont hire women pilots because they dont want to have unproductive pilots on their payroll as women pilots can get pregnant and take a long time off:8

No, it doesnt. I know a lot of ex-Lion Air pilots working for Hong Kong Airlines, Qatar, Scoot, Virgin Australia, Korean Air and a few other companies across the world:E

Venture overseas had vacancies in feb' 2012 for CPL holders in Scotland...now i dont know how the hell were they placing pilots in scotland wid pilots holding just their CPLs :confused:

if I am right they were asking CPL holders for filing up ground duty and other sectors in airport duty, not as flight crew.

@<hidden> blue....you would not buy trouble by going to congo, had few friends working there, very poorly maintained aircrafts, too much corruption, very poor living conditions, its an example of hell on earth.
one of my friend was even kidnapped by rebels there, PM of india had to intervene and deploy UN task force to get him back,can you guess where did they kidnap him? From the aircraft (king air) after it landed at an airfield.

Hi to everyone, I got an email from the Venture Overseas and they are conducting interviews in first week of august. The person I spoke to was not having sufficient information on the Payroll and other things. He asked me to come to Delhi(SOme Pitampara) place for Written and interview.

because when i'd called up, she asked me for a skype interview with management almost 2 weeks back and after clearing that, another interview in Delhi for which we had to come with $6000 DD :cool:

I dont knw... i didnt even ask her, she told she is from Ventura overseas.
Act, I was having mail conversation with Dharmesh Doshi, regarding details (which he never mentioned) and suddenly a lady calls one day to give a skype interview.
I didnt gave that, as whole process seemed fake, that lady was not ready to give me any sort of detail.....the only thing she repeated was "its 100% job guarantee"

Guys, you need to see here that this concept of paying for a job is bringing down the terms and conditions for all of us.
Please do not pay for a job. If you guys all stand united against this, airlines will have to stop this policy.

I didnt appear for any interview. She asked me for the very first round of interview on skype, and i asked her same thing, is it just a personal round or some technical, she wasnt sure about this and told "its for both".
I didnt appear because its not possible to give a technical round just like that, ofcourse i needed prep.

By the way, the mail i got from them, it had an attachment with all payment details and there they have not mentioned this $6k anywhere.

6.The candidate flies to Indonesia.
7.If required, we give Type Rating & Line Training.
8.The applicant starts working post the training

So, i again get a call from this consultancy :hmm:
They are conducting written examination at delhi on this 18th, calling every possible unemployed pilot like me, sending out the call letters and asking for confirmation reply to book the slot. :cool:

This time they aren't asking for any fee to appear for written.

Anybody else who got the call? :rolleyes:

My friend got a call from them to attend a interview on sep 25, so whats the deal with these people? Have they sent pilots to job earlier?l

Even i got a call today from them, The caller is Dharmesh.

He says there would be a written on 25th on Nav and Met (He only mentioned me these two subjects). and there would be a one on one interview the same day itself subjected to the performance in the written test.

No fee is required as on date but claims that the entire program cost is around 23 lakhs.

Of-course he insisted plenty times that it's Job Guaranteed. and the work places could be Paris, Belgium or Indonesia.

As per my discussion with him, he had mentioned these three places for TR :cool:

I cross checked it with a friend of mine who also received a call from them and yeah these places were for the place of work and not TR.

He has mentioned nothing about type rating and was also uncertain with type rating could either be A320 or 737.

And he received our resumes from Naukri.Com

Another set of emails sent out by indianaircharters.com are doing the rounds, interesting thing is they are gonna place you in philippines but you have to pay 100000 INR as upfront fee before you take the exam conducted by them on 23rd september in Ahmedabad. Anyone with any info??

no he did not attend any test before he was told that there is a test on the 25th in delhi. Later when i spoke to some friends in Indonesia he said that this "might" be scam as no one will offer any jobs within 25 lakhs. he also told me that once u sign up and pay the money before joining they might ask some more and not many have cleared their sim checks in the first attempt itself. what was initially 25 might shoot up to an extra 10 lakhs. in their website they also mentioned lion air as one of their partners only msd takes in for lion air.
These all info makes them more suspicious to me... :=

one of my cousin also had got a call from the same consultancy.I visited them on 19th in India. I met one Mr Dharmesh. Initially I wasn't very convinced on the proposal since it was given too easy however did a thorough investigation into the details provided with some of my friends in this industry ...

They have tied up with HUB Air which is in Paris and Belgium in order to offer type rating as and when necessary and they are the official partners in the South east Asia. Airline Pilot Training | Flight School | Type Rating | Distance learning (http://www.hubair.be/) .. I also verified the details by emailing and confirming with Hub Air since they spoke about the same with me...

Secondly with the Job Part I liked the part wherein they have clarified their stand of accepting any further payments only after receipt of an Valid LOI from an Airline or chartered firm. They have put that on the agreement in fact and ave given a clear cut understand confirming that we can cross verify such LOI's and only then proceed further. .. Whicih I know of BSAS and other companies that dont do this...

Finally they were also OK with a PDC with a window period of 120 -180 days before the receipt of the LOI.. Considering the I know the realist cost involved in type rating and line training I think there is value in such offers.. I have seen some suffering with the CREW MANAGEMENT agreements of some companies that are more dangerous..

In fact I am consulting a Legal counsel on the draft agreement that they have shared with me ... I will revert tomorrow on the Legal opinion on such agreement and decide a way forward. For now I am quite confident with their proposals considering they are established in Delhi,India and have more than 3 registered offices in Malaysia ... Please do write to me if there is any other investigation that any of you prescribe before investing with them..

Dnt trust this company at all it is a fraud, you can search it on the google they have done this before as well and because of them 200 students are suffering in malaysia!!!

Hi guys..i had given a the written test on the 25th sept..n today i got a confirmation mail that i have been selected..they have asked me to submit the documents along with 16000 USD as a intial payment..but i have a funny feeling about it..not quite sure whether to go ahead n continue with the process..

Even i got a call today... jus told to attend interview on 11th Oct... no exam fee as such... once two rounds are cleared will sent for TR either in 737 or A320.... job is guaranteed s one thing they repeating... the overall cost is USD 60000 which he told whose name is Vinay.. and got the mail from Mr.Dharmesh Doshi..... anybody planning to give xam for 11th... or s there anybody given before jus for ma knowledge am asking.......
