Fellow Rotorheads,

During some mountain flying training in the Cullin hills we booked into Coruisk House for some food.

The reviews on Trip Advisor are bang on, the place is fantastic!

Beautiful food, reasonably priced and great hosts.

There is no dedicated HLS but Clare the owner can arrange for the use of a field opposite for landing. The ground is a little bit bumpy, but with some fettling, you can fit probably 3 or 4 helicopters in there. We managed 2 Lynx no problems.

No landing fee, we just knocked on the door next door to thank the landowner.

It is an absolute must!

It was you! Saw you guys enjoying yourself. Was up there Mon Tue Wed with a fixed wing out of Broadford.

The Old Inn at Carbost (home of the Talisker distillery) is also excellent and you can land on the waterfront grassed area between the distillery and the pier. The distillery does tours too.

Misterbonkers,

Heard you out and about, think we got the best of the weather earlier in the week! Foggy today!
