Very sad to say Geoff passed away at 0600 this am.

I flew quite a lot with Geoff on 267 Sqn. He was fun to fly with and he was an excellent pilot to boot. Sad news indeed.

What a crying shame.

Many happy hours touring the pubs of Oxon travelling in the back of his black Austin Maxi which he claimed looked so much like a police car that he was invulnerable!

What got him in the end?

Sorry to read about Geoff. We were QFIs on ULAS at Abingdon together in the 1970's. RIP

Sad news indeed. Geoff was a bosom friend of mine in the 1960's, we went to the same school, the same youth club, shared the same girlfriend (though at different times) and Geoff was my best man at my wedding in 1968. Geoff was at Leeming doing his training with the crabs :) when I was at Linton on Ouse doing mine with the Fleet Air Arm. We lost touch when he moved to France, and that was it until I heard from a friend today.
RIP Geoff.
