I was wondering if anyone could help. I flew LHR-FCN in the year 2000 on board the short lived Air Zarco and was styled as Air Madeira. All I can remember is the aircraft was in an all white livery and had green seats (probably not much help). I know its a long shot but does anyone know the likely aircraft type that was operated?

I think at one point they had a Lockheed L-1011 in the fleet but I can't even remember if it even had an engine in the rear tailplane all I remember is it being all white... there is just very limited information about them.

All I can tell you is that in May 2000 Air Zarco operated into Birmingham with an all white (and no titles) B737-300 CS-TIO.

Ah, I also found the Tristar they operated. This was CS-TEB and it too operated a/w with n/t.

airframes.org also sites XA-RLM Boeing 757-200 c/n24566 as one of its' fleet of 3 aircraft. not sure whether that's right or not.

air zarco operated under the name air madeira from 1993, and then became euroatlantic airways in may 2000.

The B757 operated for Air Madeira in 1998. It was sold and re-reg N566AN in February 2000.

Btw Planenut, do you have the date you flew?

Hotel Tango, I imagine you are probably right with your first guess after just being informed it was indeed from BHX rather than LHR (sorry guys). It would of been during the May holidays as well. Cheers for your help :ok:
