According to the circular issued by DGCA March 22, 2012, CPL holders wanting to get Jet ACFT Type Endorsement does not require an NOC.

http://dgca.nic.in/cars/D7B-B19.pdf

Instead of the candidate approaching the DGCA for NOC, it now says the TRTO must furnish certain documents in a sealed envelope, and send directly to DGCA prior to commencement of training in order to establish whether the candidate is eligible for the TR.

Does anyone know what docuements in particular are they looking for. It is a given that Class 1 medical and IR should be valid during the entire period of training. So apart from evidence of this, anything else DGCA is specifically interested in seeing from the TRTO.

Also, TR endorsement automatically entitles you to IR renewal, according to my understanding. Correct me if I am wrong. So we end up paying Rs5000 + Rs5000 for TR endorsement and IR renewal at the time of submission of TR endorsement at DGCA?

Can anyone please answer this---

Do we need to have current FRTOL and RT in order to get Jet type rating endorsed on our licence. Any circular/documents to support your answer.

Thanks.

Hey guys,

I've done my KingAir B200 training and going to submit my documents and transcripts for endorsement this week.
I am not able to find the correct application form.

I see one Extension of Aircraft type rating form at the DGCA website. Is that the form to be used ? I found it and thought it was best suited for aircrafts over 5700 kgs. My endorsement is a multi engine turbo prop under 5700 kgs.

I would also like to know if DGCA considers a turbo prop to be a jet?

Any one please guide me to the correct form ?
And Fees - Aircraft endorsement Rs. 5000, IR rating Rs. 5000. Is that right ?

I have all other documents ready, CA 40B and 39 and various day and night and IR check forms.
