Anyone have any experience with an S-76 fitted with the certified AirGlass ski installation? Limitations, restrictions, etc.

Limitations, restrictions, etc. helihub 12th Jun 2012, 11:11 Hmm, once I'd figured out the correct spelling of Airglas I was unable to find anything on their website Ski Manufacturers for Helicopters and Light Aircraft ~ Airglas, Inc., Alaska (http://www.airglas.com) on the S76 skis - apart from an apocryphal note that their founder had worked on skis for that helo type. Have you considered emailing them - or are you trying to compare "manufacturer figures" with "real world figures"? GeorgeMandes 14th Jun 2012, 03:15 I would call Airglas, and ask for Chris Donnelly. His number is (907) 344-1450. We fly their skis on a Cessna 185 and Aviat Husky, and their pod on a Husky -- excellent company and products. Alaska SAR folks use Airglas skis on their Blackhawks. |
