Quick question. Is a clearance required to use Lancelin VFR Routes 1 - 4 when Pearce airspace active ?

If you use the appropriate route to keep you clear of the Lancelin airspace which is active and stay below the 4000ft pearce step then no clearance is not required as your OCTA

Stay in the lane and you are in G airspace see and be seen wise to listen on 118.3 as you transit if you have 2 VHF.

Thanks for the info. Always prefer to embarrass myself with a dumb question than a RAAF escort!

Be careful if using VFR route 4, tracking north of lancelin is subject to the status of R146 & R184.

Its all written on the VNC for Perth.

the lane stops at the start of lancelin airspace when its active so i wouldnt just plug on through anyway listening out on 118.3
