Hey all,

I have been considering taking a trip down to Africa in search of employment for quite some time now.

I have just the basic CPL, 250 hours, Multi Engine Rating (no Single). FAA, DGCA CPL.

The African forum is filled with Australians, and Europeans.
From what I hear, its very tough for an Indian to get employment there.

But has anyone tried as yet?
Else some advice and your own perspective?

I am in the same thought process as yours, i am also planning a trip to africa by the end of this year, have done a quite a lot of research work about Botswana, Tanzania and Namibia. i even went on to make a new thread here on PPRUNE, but no one seem to be replying any interesting facts about it. I have 270 TT with Single and Multi Engine FAA and DGCA CPLs. let me know your further plannings and will see if we can figure anything out....

Hi Kush,

What does your research tell you about the possibilities of landing a job with our kind of experience?

Visa and NOC for a work permit in Africa?

Estimated length of stay and cost of such a trip?
