At least one stooge will be happy! broadband circuit 4th Jun 2012, 05:04 At least one stooge will be happy! Well, if I'm thinking of the same stooge (and I'm sure I am), it sounds like a nice destination for the 777. crwjerk 4th Jun 2012, 06:23 Maybe CX will force him to " convert" to the bus. geh065 4th Jun 2012, 07:51 Did I miss a notice to crew? turnandburn 4th Jun 2012, 07:53 was that the inotice for iscrewed crew Basil 4th Jun 2012, 09:28 Don't forget to ask for the 'special tea' in the restaurant ;) broadband circuit 5th Jun 2012, 05:56 They've no doubt done this in response to fatigue management issues. Ok, I can accept that. So, let me get it straight. We didn't have a hotel contract at KHI, but they've gone & signed one. Yet, in CGK & SIN, where we already have a contract in place, they refuse to slip us in those ports, despite numerous reports about fatigue. I await the new pattern for 797 & 715 where we get off the aircraft at midnight and go to the hotel. Bunch of muppets! Cloud Cuckooland 5th Jun 2012, 12:15 Latest Patterns on IntraCX are stiil showing BKK o'night - storm ina teacup perhaps? On the other hand I have heard a lot of ASRF's have been submitted on this pattern, but be careful what you wish for: 1.CX will not stop flying to KHI as there is money to be made. 2.The alternative to the present arrangement of shuttles ex BKK can only be KHI o'night and possibly a WOCL two sector KHI-BKK-HKG (maybe PX on 2nd Sector). So what is worse: KHI overnights jusfied by the lack of things going "bang" in the last 6-12 months or a BKK-KHI-BKK pattern with an extension of FDP by inflight rest? The number of ASRF's may force the company's hand in favor of KHI overnights as that is supported by "paperwork" whereas the security threat is debatable until something goes "bang". Most of our crewing gripes are fatigue vs. commercial, this is different as fatigue vs. security. :uhoh: Interesting link on "Failed States" :Failed state - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Failed_state#2011) Pakistan is in the top 20 Jizzmonkey 5th Jun 2012, 13:14 bkk is cheaper so Ill guess well stay there SloppyJoe 5th Jun 2012, 13:17 Put a 33B, or even better a 340 on it and that would be another solution.
