Avionics Engineers - Victoria

Hey Guys,

Can anyone recommend any Avionics Engineers in the Victoria that I wont have to take a loan to pay the bill?? The bank account is still hurting after the last 100hrly exercise! :mad:

Dave Jackson at Moorabbin is very good, but you might have to plan an armed bank robbery to fund it.

I have been told this by quite a few people.

We got him to quote on refitting our 182, he was very helpful and seemed to try and save you money where he could.

Place at Stawell does avionics.

Also Brian Farmer - based at Nhill but comes to Ballarat to work out of Fieldair most weeks.

If it's an avionics upgrade you'd also need to plan on the cost of an Engineering Order.

I don't think David Jackson has the approval to Engineering Orders, which is a pain and means you'd have to get one from someone with a CAR 35 approval.

I got an Icom A-210 radio, which I think is great.
