Hello, after getting a B1 license, what are the requirements to carry out composite and sheetmetal requrements in Part-145 organizations.
I need to take specialist (structure repair) training?
Thank you.:ok:

Your qualification will be enough to be a structural engineer all you need to do then is apply for a job but for this you will need work experience and hence will get a start as structures mechanic then work your way up and your employer will train you as you progress in your career.

If my employer trains me then do i get a certificate of the training? And after i get it then they add these works i could do into my work permission?
Im currently new btw - completing the 147 b1 course..:hmm:
No disrespect to anyone hear other than the companies & authorities who control this industry now, but maybe a proper apprenticeship & traing before people get their tickets might help.

Yes ofcorse ill be in apprenticeship for the 2 years until i receive my B1. But its confusing on the Eurocopter website: Reference - Eurocopter, an EADS company (http://www.eurocopter.com/site/en/ref/Training-Academy-Donauworth_1070-1080.html)
It gives training options and there comes the list:
B1 Type Training (mechanics)
B2 Type Training (electrical system/avionics)
Engine Training
B1 Practical Training (mechanics)
B2 Practical Training (electrical system/avionics)
B1 Conversion Courses
B2 Conversion Courses
System Familiarization – cat.C
Refresher Course
Inspection Course
Rotor Head Inspection Course
External Hoist Operation
Rotor Blade Repair
Optional Avionic Equipment (ATC, Weather Radar, Navigation, Communication,
Intercom and others)
Air Conditioning System
FLIR - Maintenance Training
Electric Courses
Cable Harness Repair Course
Sheet Metal Repair Course
Composite Repair Course

The only thing that adds in your license is a type rate these courses will grant you a certificate.

So in the end: a person comes from street with no previous background in A/C maintenance - the company trains him or sends to the courses (composite/sheetmetal) and then he can perform structure repair without even having B1 license?

Having a b1 license is a must to be elligible for sitting these courses and signing CRS on work done on aircraft and getting approvals.
You will need:
1-license.
2-work experience.
3-relevant specialized trainings.
4-company approval.

But what about if you perform the repair and someone other sign-s it?
Isnt it so that a 145 organization can train sheetmetal and composite repair specialists?

Yes but they can not issue a CRS for the repairs only a type approved B1 can. And it's been like that for many many years.

Hi all,
A sheet metal worker makes the job and a B1 certifies it. I know few sheet metal specialists who own a B1 license. The same happens with composite specialist, someone makes it and a B1 certifies it.

Not nessesarily as in some organizations you'll be certifying your own work.
And where you have a mechanic assisiting you, You will be supervising them when they work and and put your hand in the job here and then, You don't just certify something you haven't attended or participated at.
