Morning Chaps
Does anybody have hands on experience of opting out lately. I hear accom. dept. are short of villas (once again), and they will pay a cash bonus if you sign out. Any truth to that ?

You don't get a bonus...you get an allowance.

A little over 3 years ago, when there were almost 200 pilots with families living in temporary (2 bedroom apartments) accommodation, there was a one off payment of 100k in addition to the allowance to encourage people to find their own places. Those who took up the offer were also allowed to re-enter company accommodation after the first year.

As far as I know, there is no current "bonus" (one-off payment) for people leaving company villas.

i see a lot of villas being built around existing mosques, must be future EK pilot residences. I'm sure that land is cheap.

Thanks. Yes I was referring to a cash bonus for opting out, I remember in 2008 they offered you a sum(100G) just to see the back of you. Have a great day !
