There is no bottom line as to what really happened to the truth about Korean Airlines Flight 007. Supposedly shot down by a MIG over Sakalein Island. There are lots of conflicting information that no one has seemed to care to find out if the airplane was ditched, and if there were survivors what happened to them, where are the graves of those who perished, and are they really the victims?. Why was the wreckage moved between the date of the incident and the time the Soviets let the west have access to it? Why did it appear that it was cut up to look like a crash. What happened to the Containers on board. No mention of cargo. The shoes that were supposedly recovered where never identified as belonging to any passenger or crew member. Was it really carrying a camera?? Why was it there, why was a USAF RC-135 trailing the 747 into Soviet airspace?. Lots of questions, very little logical or believable answers.
I think after all this time we should know, for the sake of the victims and their families.
