Well after being allocated leave that I didn't want in the early part of the year outside school holidays, against my preferences, Denly has the audacity to offer vacancies for July & August. Yes I would love to have leave with my kids but you've already allocated all my leave so I now can't take it then you prick :ugh::ugh:

B744 Captains are also invited to apply for Unpaid Leave for July and August.

I think you know exactly where you can stick that invitation too.

You are barking up the wrong tree, he is actually a decent guy imho, just the messenger..

Apart from that I am fully with you for what it's worth, I am in the same boat..

Yet another shameless cheapshot by CX. Please remember it next time they are in need of your goodwill for anything. Just say NO. Until they treat us with the respect we deserve, they should get none in return. That is how this world works. I encourage everyone I fly with to do the same. Somehow, people so easily like to forget all the ways they have been mistreated by the company.

JoeBanana, that is probably why you were allocated the leave when you did not want it. This way they could coerce you into taking UL even though you don't want it. You will most likely take him up on his offer now.

....'a decent guy' ???

If it is DH you are referring to, he was part of the Star Chamber as Crew Personnel Manager (Boeing). You'll be singing the praises of the DFO next!

How soon we forget...

How soon we forget...

Let's hope not.

Everyone, absolutely EVERYONE, on that list is marked; forever.

No ifs or buts.
