Is it true that DGCA has updated CARS .. for ppl who have not flown for more than a year... if yes.. anybody has any idea what are the new requirements..

if your ir is not lapsed you need to do 2 flights of 2 hrs check total cost 1.6lakhs from cte airindia hydrebad. and if your ir is expired you need to do a ground refreshers with flights total cost 3lakhs.

its better if you go to the nearest dgca office and inquire about it..

Sorry guys if I posted this stuff in the wrong thread , was the most appropriate one I could find. I would be grateful if you guys could tell me if our multi ir has to be valid in order to get the a320 endorsed on our licence.Thought would cross check with guys who have already done the rating before .

i remember... they needed ir currency single or multi for issue of NOC back then... this was like 14 months ago...
