Thanks Samuel! What an amazing man and what an uplifting story that, in the midst of so much inhumanity and cruelty, he was able to inspire other men, both friends and foes, to ensure that honour and decency prevailed! How ironic that having survived all those dangerous missions deep into Germany, and beyond, that it would be over France and following D-Day that he was shot down! Another good man that will be forever commemorated in Green Park from June 28th 2012. New Zealand must be justly proud of this son of hers.

I've never yet met a Kiwi I didn't like. The views on the drive from Napier to Taupu are magnificent.
