I have just had my first pax experience on a Embraer 195 equipped with a third cabin crew jump seat that hinges off the side of the forward galley.

When extended there appears to be next to no room between it and the jump seat adjacent to the L1 door. When both jump seats seats are in use there is insufficient room between them to get to either the L1 or R1 exits.

Egress would be significantly impeded in the situation where the crew member in the 3rd jump seat was incapacitated or the seat pan was deformed and it not being possible to stow he seat

I solicit feedback on the following points:
Where are the three cabin crew positioned during an evacuation to ensure that they do not impede passenger egress?

On what basis was the 3rd seat certified given its location in respect of the egress path?

Kind regards and thanks.

The Emb 195 as with other aircraft with similar jump seat position ATR42/72 F-27 etc. Require that in event of the seat being in use the primary exit for the flight deck crew is, the cockpit sliding windows.
