Some airports are making their ATIS available by phone.
This is the case in France for most of the major airports and the phone numbers are available on the VFR plates that are downloadable.

Do you know if those phone numbers are available in your respective countries and where I could find them ?

In Jeppesen Airway Manual under Meteorology you can find list of all ATIS stations in Europe - telephone numbers are included when available.

The Jeppensen Met section also lists numbers for ATISs and AWOSs in the US. The FAA publishes them in the Airport Facility Directory, available on the FAA web page.

The one for Luton just rings out. I have a more expensive number that still works - 0906 474 4 474

Edit - seems my number doesn't work either

Not all UK airports have a tele-atis service, but if you go onto The UK AIP page (http://www.nats-uk.ead-it.com/public/index.php%3Foption=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=6&Itemid=13.html) and then select the airport you want, search for ATIS and if available, will show the phone number in the right-hand bit of the table.
