View Full Version : Pete Hill ex BA flown-it 29th Apr 2012, 13:54 I'm looking for Peter M Hill. Joined BA from the RN in the early 70s. He has been retired for about 15 years Sygyzy 1st May 2012, 09:36 I have the nasty feeling that Peter passed on very shortly after retirement-aged about 58. I have no way of checking this-we're looking at probably ten years ago, maybe more. Perhaps BA pensions could give you some further information. S fantom 1st May 2012, 16:31 Nothing to do with the question but S, that's a very interesting username; are you dyslexic? Finbarr 2nd May 2012, 08:16 He had a brother Dave who was with Air UK (Leisure?) Agaricus bisporus 2nd May 2012, 09:29 Unless thare are two of them answering that description Peter Hill was with Go after leaving BA until the late '90s and retired for the second time, I think, just before the mugging. A true gentleman and fine, fine operator. goeasy 2nd May 2012, 13:03 Yes lovely guy to fly with in Go. I hope he hasn't passed on. Deserves a long retirement! Jaydubya 3rd May 2012, 14:31 Try Windlesham Golf Club, Bagshot Surrey. He was a member there a few years back maybe still is. flown-it 3rd May 2012, 19:43 Thank you for all your suggestions. Dave is indeed his brother (twin if my memory serves me correctly) Does anyone other than Finbarr have any info on Dave? flown-it 5th May 2012, 12:37 Jaybubya wrote:- Try Windlesham Golf Club, Bagshot Surrey. Peter is a member here and I am glad to say we see him regularly, I will be very happy to forward this email on to him. Good luck! Kind regards Paula Buckell Admin When I hear from him I will point him to this site and he will be able to report that he is at the very least ...Alive. :D Sygyzy 5th May 2012, 19:02 I'm very happy to be corrected. S samjetblaster 14th May 2012, 19:03 For those of you who knew Captain Brian Bgoya, Ex ATC, LAM and KQ. Captain Bgoya passed away early this morning at around 1am. He was an amazing guy with a great sense of humour, a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with. My sincere condolences to his family. He was a great man who will be dearly missed. May he RIP and he will always be remembered. |
