UK JAA ATPL to FAA ATPL

Hi. I'm sure this has been answered on the forum in the past but could someone kindly explain what is involved in converting my UK JAA ATPL to an FAA ATPL with my current Embraer 145 / Legacy type rating attached. Many thanks.

Why don't you just write the FAA ATPL exam and do a 61.157 based on previous experience and have both licences?
