nope, the movie has an ejection in it, but it wasn't done in the air

See Sky Fighters (2005) - Synopsis (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0421974/synopsis)

A good mixture of real video and computer graphics. But not quite the real thing:E

There are far better French Mirage Videos on You Tube. Try searching “French Mirage Chad”

I was actually searching for "thirteen senses into the fire" and the above vid came up; was somewhat bemused as to the canopy being AWOL but the link to the IMDb site from Fox3... explains all - thanks :ok:

Amazing aircraft the Mirage 2000

TLP '91 A Mirage 2000 pilot claimed a guns kill on a yank F-16
"F-off" said the Yank "I was pulling 9G"

The hud video showed the Mirage 2000 was pulling 11.2G
"Oops" said the Frenchie,

but it was smooth tracking and we gave him the kill.

Camouflaged Mirage 2000 in three-tank fit = sex on wings for me!

Regarding the ejection, where's the gun tube? (or am I becoming confused between reality and CGI?).

Remember one at a Leu BoB day 2nd rehearsal, completely changed his routine ad hoc, mass panic on the ground due to the VERY unusual "stuff" he was getting up to. On the big day back to "normal" routine.

A VERY impressive aircraft indeed.

Begrudging admiration for the snail eaters, they seem to have overcome all the obstacles we tripped over.
Designed their own FJs and have a full and balanced force AEW (inc. E-2C), SH, AT, AAR, MPA, ELINT, etc. Not to mention that is all part of a balanced Armed Forces, the Navy and Army are in good shape too, where did it all go wrong for us? :{

Ivan, dunno about the snail eating bit but this lot

1er RCP - Site officiel - (http://www.rcp1.terre.defense.gouv.fr/)

provide lots of entertainment locally when they throw sticks out of ?36 out of a Transall on a frequent basis, usually once a week....now maybe it's only done for the purposes of jump pay but it still looks pretty impressive.
