captplaystation 26th Apr 2012, 08:30 First2 Resource ? ? Gawd knows, another bunch of fly-by-nights trying to divert money/contract through a different office, next door to the one that offered the same job last week.
Airline almost certainly that perennial "favorite" :* Small Planet , as they were advertising just a couple of days ago for CC in MAN & LGW.
And, Ref prev threads, you know all about them right . . . . . . . .
Tommy Tilt 26th Apr 2012, 08:55 First2Resource, Airborne Personnel, Mountain High, one and the same. All operating out of a broom cuboard in an office building on the way into Crawley town centre, UK. Nuff said.
Yorkshire-Pud 28th Apr 2012, 22:03 As suggested, likely to be Small Planet. Flying for a number of UK tour operators, mainly Greek Islands ex MAN, LGW and some of the Regions. Money is average.....but the flying, in the main, is fun.
Boeing Europe 29th Apr 2012, 10:36 Spoke to Small Planet its them allright, they are screening on the 10th 11th I was invited just waiting for e-mail confirmation LGW base money pretty bad I hear
Soprano 29th Apr 2012, 16:33 I heard money is in the region of €3k pm before tax for fo's, I also heard they may not pay for LGW/man parking, also they were after guys to work 3 months full time during peak summer and part time/ job share the other 3 months, I know a jobs a job but it does feel like they are pushing the boundaries as far as T's & C's go.
Boeing Europe 29th Apr 2012, 16:39 Soprano Have you applied....? or heard anything back if you have? I have heard the same about salary but its apparently paid offshore :ok: ,that sounds pretty bad about the parking as I cn imagine how expensive it will be for a whole summers worth of parking.
Yorkshire-Pud 29th Apr 2012, 18:24 Think parking is paid at both MAN & LGW.
captplaystation 29th Apr 2012, 18:36 They advertised, and re-advertised, and advertised again. Finally, preferable to take guys with ZERO experience on type, who will pay THEM to fly/ work for free at least.
Capt's pay is €4500, and they tried to offer me €4000. . . draw your own conclusions. :hmm:
Horace Batchelor 1st May 2012, 19:13 If screening is on the 10th and 11th May, does anyone know when the course is planned to start?
captplaystation 1st May 2012, 23:12 From my short exposure to them, there is very little planning, and what there is, is at very short notice.
Shaman 9th May 2012, 09:28 ........and which airline is looking for 2 EFIS captains who MUST speak Italian or Spanish?
captplaystation 9th May 2012, 10:14 SPA have a base in MXP, but haven't heard of any presence in Spain, so, could be ?
I can't think of any other Classic operators with presence in these two countries, either based, or as wet-lease.
Shaman 9th May 2012, 13:32 Thanks CaptPS - you are probably correct!
