Hi...
Does anybody has some information about the citilink airline? working environment, salary of first officer or from where they get their type ratings?

working environment's more or less the same as other airlines in Indonesia, take home pay around USD 4k..some guys are going through Jakarta Aviation Training Center (JATC) for type rating before being absorbed into Citilink

There's a group of newbies in ground school now, a mix of Indians and Malaysians from different agencies ie Aircrew Global and Glorietta (don't really know the real name)..but as far I know Citilink doesn't want anyone from India..there are 6 or 7 Malaysians who are doing type rating now at JATC

Why these airlines get conned by agents like glorietta?? Are they capable of delivering... i have my doubts!!!

I have also heard Citilink only want people from Malaysia, Australia...

Guys check out before your commit...

GLORIETTA charges close to 30 lacs all in advance before leaving
If you fail the checkride i dont know how much of this is refundable....

type rating is done on faa license and flying is done on faa too in a school called JATC its new with only one 320 sim as far as i know
so there is a faa check ride involved
glorietta does not provide any kind of help as far as DGCA is involved
arranging the work permits there is also the candidates look out

the first batch as i remember has been there since jan/feb 2012 or so
and their type rating is still going on ( not sure when they went there)

glorietta is sister concern for air crew global phillipines
not sure if the contract is with glorietta or air crew

the airline's doing good so far, it's under Garuda though they might be getting separate AOC soon

That might not happen from what I hear ... the DGCA is not keen for this to happen.

a friend of mine already in citilink told me that, there has been a CHAOS in citilink now, all recruitment stop, half of the manager has been resigned in the same time, as a sudden change of philosophy has been enforced by their parent company Garuda, it will not going to be as its plan as their AOC being pending due to fraud documents, just hold for a while guys ......don't go there for now.....

Guys beware Aircrew Global is a fake. Even the Airlines he claims to represent
have came out to warn about his modus operandi and have disassociated themselves from him. Do NOT deal with Aircrew Global...they are not legitimate :)

guys i been looking at their airbus fleet and since january/feb

they had only 3 320s
now they have like 5 active and pcc says they have 7.
they seem to be expanding as claimed before.

still no idea about possibilities of zero hour type rated guys and how to approach them :ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh:

Aircrew, Glorietta etc are not the agents. Citilink doesn't take any FOs unless you're rated and 500 hrs on type. No exceptions.

You guys do realise that for the 0 hours A320 type rated guys, there will be a fee for the line training? This amount has not yet been decided.

Cant we opt for salary sacrificing/ reduction for the line training? (pardon me if wrong terminology)

Guys it was just a question.. I didnt find it notoriously stupid to ask such question since many airlines in Malaysia does that.. They pay for their pilots since PPL until line training, and their salary is reduced up to 10 years with contracts.. Chill..

$1400/m - $700 (rent) - utilities- food - salary sacrifice? Even indomie will be an expensive dinner.

last time I checked, local fo basic sallary is approx usd 2200. If you fly, let say 80 hrs, total take home approx usd3500-4000. That's after tax already..Some fos fly more than 100hrs, bring around 5,5k, 'coz the flight pay is increasing progressively, not flat rate.
Now they have 5 aircrafts sitting on the ground, coz no pilots..

Anyone with the actual T&C for the FO position. I found different numbers from other sources, so I wonder what the real salary is. I tried e-mailing the company, but no response yet.

Hello folks,

Does anyone have fresh news about citilink and infos about the glorietta recruitment schemes?
I know from a friend on mine that some european pilots (rated) are waiting to be called for a sim later in december and aircrafts are on their way to jakarta.

If someone has fresh infos from jakarta please share.

Thanks.
