Lunch today interrupted by appearance, a mile or so out to sea, of a yellow SK. Appeared to be practice winching (drums??) and then toddled off over Mundesley-ish. As one-of-them-once, being curious, what was on?

Your local SAR flight is at Wattisham so it would have been them. We haven't had SAR aircraft at Coltishall for many years.

A NavEx from EGUW to Cromer, radar letdown over the sea simulating bad weather, drums, decks then RTB. A nice morning out before the CBs got a bit cheeky.

Thank you snaggletooth. Thanks for the nostalgia inject and apologies for the location error. Was on the 'other' lot in my time. Enjoy .. of course you will!!
