Which is the best read???

Want it for consolodation of ATPL theory and an early bit of interview prep.

Many thanks to anyone with a constructive reply!

Cheers

I own "Handling the Big Jets" as background reading etc as that was the more "professional" of the two.

For interview preparation I just read over my ATPL summary cards.
I also reviewed Jeppesen plates for the "what does this mean?" question.
Have a look at a sig wx chart and know what the symbols mean.

The Cathay interview booklet is probably more useful to be honest.

The interview isn't a deep test of your advanced aerodynamics knowledge.

Get both!

Also Aerodynamics for Naval Aviators good info.

Ignore the rubbish P of F in "Ace the Pilot Tech Interview" !

Todays new pilots tend to lack depth of knowledge, so the more you understand the better placed you'll be if you get an automation failure later.

HtBJ is a good ref guide too. :ok:

p.s. What Flight Levels come under RVSM airspace?
