We need a lot of work experience evidence on aircraft maintenance to apply the approved maintenance license,but can we apply for a Cat A or B without attending any class and directly sit for exam? TQ

Yes, you can sit the exams without attending any training school.

You cannot apply for the B or A without completing the required amount of practical experience though.

Lots of people do the exams without the help of their company or a training school / college.

Thanks for your reply Fargoo.

I am in doubt when reading the Airworthiness Regulation which state the applicant should undergo certain amount of theoretical training hours, but I heard the engineers said that some of them didn't get into any training school and only went through amount of years of experience.
