The whole crew on this flight were major supporters & organisers for the Dream Flight charity which every October pays for a BA plane load of severely disabled children to be flown to Orlando to have a week of fun at Disney.
On the Saturday morning after we arrived they were ALL going to abseil down Table Mountain! to raise funds for this wonderful charity. It costs £4.500 per child to pay for the trip, which is crewed by a volunteer crew who take 2 weeks unpaid leave!
What a great way to start our 3 week vacation in South Africa, to be flown & served by a bunch of such wonderful young people. Thanks guys, you're all heros & heroines.
