This enquiry is completely genuine. I met him when I was a pupil midwife at the the Perth Royal Infirmary and when I completed my training and left there, in the 1960s, he wrote a long letter to me, signed Jim Heys, (a love letter - if that is not a too old fashioned term). I came accross it in my desk recently and that is what has prompted my enquiry. It is purely out of interest, for old times sake, and nothing more.
