Sqn Ldr Ray Twigger - late of No 5 AEF

Was asked by someone recently if I knew if Ray was still about. I flew with him as a cadet initially at Cambridge in the mid-80's. He was an absolute gent, had flown Lancs late on in the War. Anyone help?

I flew with Ray as a cadet like you on the CCF at 5 AEF in 76-80 as schoolboy and I know someone who flew with him in WW2 and knows him still.
Hes still going in the Fens area and has lost a couple of wives I believe he is in frail health. i can get more if you need,I see his friend professionally once every couple of months.

Saw Ray yesterday. If I ever "make" nearly 90, I hope I will be as fit as he is!!
