The full-scale airworthy replica of the Wiggins Aerodyne that I have laboured over for the past 30 years nears completion; the final difficulties involving interference between the Wing-Warping system & the Observation Basket lowering mechanism have been overcome, following assistance most courteously rendered by the Victoria & Albert Museum.
I have secured the services of an Afghanistan veteran to conduct the aerial testing evolutions required by those nice chaps from the CAA; however, my Test Pilot flew Westland Wapitis over the tribal redoubts in the 1930's, and may require some literature to study beforehand.
Anyone got a set of Pilot's Notes (they were on parchment, as I recall)?
