RAAF eyesight Astigmatism

Hi guys,

im applying for the role of pilot in the RAAF/RAN/ARMY

I've got my "YOU" session coming up soon and im concerned that i might not make the inital medical that they undertake,
I've got astigmatism and while i dont know how bad it is i held a class 1 medical (with the restriction that i must wear corrective glasses) was also told by the dame that i might have trouble getting a ATPL.
i dont wear glasses day to day.

so i was wondering if any ex pilots or current pilots have had astigmatism and how bad was it ?

i dont think my vision is that bad although i do have trouble making out detail at distances.

Only one way to find out and that is to lodge an application and see what happens.
