Obviously, I have missed something here . . or have I.?
I was looking at the some approach plates for an SRA, obviously, this is not a factor for the SRA but there was no DH given for the ILS plate no MDA/MDH for the NDB approach therefore can`t really calc DH/DA

Being older than I look - I am not a happy shopper.

Can anyone please tell me what is the latest thang in AIP/AIC with regard to calculating the MDA/MDH from whatever, OCL, OCH . . ?

While I am here - like QFE, why have they done away with MDA/MDH - they always seem to change the stuff that makes life safe!

Which airport? I guess your looking at the AIP not a commercial publication such as LIDO etc.

EGSH and yes it was the AIP - specifically -
AD 2-EGSH-8-2 (30 Jun 11)
AD 2-EGSH-8-6 (30 Jun 11)
ILS.....(30 Jun 11) AD 2-EGSH-8-3

I've just had a look at our jeppesens and by the looks of it the ndb OCA with and without dme are the same as the MDA on the jeppesen charts.

As for the ils the oca are all below 200ft so for a cat I just add 200 to the thr elevation (306')

. . and 306` Bingo!

Thank you very much.

Got all that. Thank you for your time (and your Jeppo)

:)

and added, later . . well, compared to my new charts - thankee guys, I now end up with 600 for the MDH and twiddly bits added on for my currency and this, that and the other and I am about 783 ft - still calculating . . . (shame they are not doing CAT III, which would make life a lot easier!).

LIDO shows it at 310, but then LIDO does show minima only in 10' steps, rounded up to the next 10.

27: NDB DME 560', NDB 650', circling 740'.
09: NDB DME 560', NDB 660', SRA 740', circling 740'. All for CAT C.
