The Commission authorises France and Italy to grant aid to eurocopter and Augusta Westland to support the development of a new generation of civil helicopters.
Eurocopter
This relates to the X4 as an extension of an existing scheme (case N395/2010 (http://ec.europa.eu/competition/elojade/isef/case_details.cfm?proc_code=3_N395_2010)) Euro 143m repayable advance repayabl when defined sales targets are met.
Augusta Westland
Euro 279m zero-interest loan repayable over 19 years to fund industrial research and experimental development (case N101/2008 (http://ec.europa.eu/competition/elojade/isef/case_details.cfm?proc_code=3_N101_2008)). This relates to the AW69 project.
