Hello. A new livery for EasyJet painted on G-EZEZ. More of a revised livery. The reg has been moved near the tail and the .com has been removed. Decided to post it here as if i posted it on the Easyjet page it will get very spotty.

Apparently this isn't their 'new' livery but will have a 'special' livery painted onto it shortly. Not sure what for.

Would be rather unusual for a LCC to drop the .com!

I had heard that this a/c was knocking about in this livery and just thought that it was some livery tweak but would have been surprised if the .com would have been dropped even if it does fit in with Carolyn McCall taking the airline a bit more upmarket still.

I can't see that the .com adds any value or benefit. The brand is so well known that anyone with half a brain would know to add .com or .co.uk (which redirects to .com), and anyone who didn't would simply Google it.

I saw an EZY a/c the other day somewhere, I think it was at EDI or LPL, and remembered thinking it looked slightly different for some reason, that may have been the one.

one of the comments in the link says it's a one-off to commemorate some anniversary of the Brandenburg gate, and that the decal or whatever will be applied shortly...

edit: just googled an image, it's got willy brandt's face on the back and Berlin International Airport titles kind of where the .com used to be

I agree. It seems like a lacklustre attempt, possibly the blandest new scheme I've seen in recent times.

I despair because they are both awful.

I was hoping EZ employees would rebel and vote for the non-existent Option 3, showing management that Option 1 and 2 a down right awful.

It does seem they are going for a similar style to match their new website design. That is angled intersecting lines.

If that's what they were going for, they should have taken a look at Ethiad's new livery. That is how to do it properly.

Properly, yes, but also how to do it expensively. Thats not the low cost way. This easyJet design is one colour and easy, cheap, effective to apply to each aircraft. It stands out, is adequately smart/ professional looking that really is job done regarding a new colour scheme. Unfortunately most pax don't care about airline livery's, with easyJet all they need is to see an orange aircraft and don't need to see much else to realise its EZY.

I think it's a big improvement on the old livery. Bold and striking.

Within the confines of the rules laid down by the easygroup agreement with the airline (typeface and orange both mandatory I believe) this is a credible and in my view improved scheme, although I have read a lot of anti comments. Hopefully it will grow on people!

I'll keep this going I think. There's not really anywhere else where where you can find which ones have been done during the time. I like to keep it updated for everyone. Yeah I know it doesn't appeal to everyone here but some of us are interested. Plus I believe it won't be till At least 2019 when the fleet is done. I will also continue updates for Monarch, Thomas Cook & Thomson :)

Unless there is a variation in the livery, why on earth does anybody need to know or care if the next aircraft has been painted? Maybe I'm missing the point, but I'm sure there are other things people can post on here other than when aircraft are painted in the same livery :mad:

We have had several through Southend already. and apparently the paint shop is booked through out the winter doing Easyjet resprays. HB-JZX was out last week and HB-JZZ is currently in re-spray.

Since pretty much all the G-EZT*'s are done and some of the early G-EZU*'s are done I would imagine it will get the spray this winter.
