The only ones to benefit from this will be the Gulf carriers especially from UK airports.

If there are operational and safety deficiencies as stated, anybody who would be at risk if the airline continued to operate is going to benefit. That's potentially a lot of people on the ground and in the air.

Experts have revealed that the EU’s EASA has suspended its certificate with immediate effect and has allowed PIA a 2-month period in which the national airline may appeal against the decision.
They are still flying into Europe - so heads up - or down as appropriate...
