Info req...Sauer 85hp aero engine.

My mate is looking at buying a kit plane...and is interested in one fitted with the VW based Sauer 85hp engine....I had not heard of this engine till a few days ago,

For some reason my browser wont open there web site properly,

Can anybody tell me anything about it.

Can't be sure, but I seem to remember another manufacturer (more or less comparable) went bust recently (wasn't it Limbach?) and Sauer were named as a candidate for continuing that business in some state or another?

But, OTOH, Home - sauer-motorenbau (http://www.sauer-flugmotorenbau.de/) opened for my Firefox at the first click, is your browser ok?
Or did you mean by "opening properly" that you are expecting it to be in your own language?

If you go to the "downloads" section of the home page there is an english version of the operating manual
