I'm visiting UK from Oz. Building an RV 12 at home and wondering if there's a completed one at Barton I could see this coming Monday as I'll be passing en route to MAN. I've got empennage, tailcone and wings complete, working on centre section, and I have never seen a real one :-)

I think there are only about 4 RV-12s flying in the UK so far. I've heard about ones in Booker, Yorkshire and one in Scotland.

I'd suggest trying to make contact through the Yahoo rvsqn (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rvsqn/) email group to reach owners and builders in the UK

G-Info (http://www.caa.co.uk/application.aspx?catid=60&pagetype=65&appid=1&mode=summary&aircrafttype=rv12) suggests there are three with registered owners not far from Manchester, and eight in the UK.

All blue RV12 G-CGVD is a Barton based flyer and may be seen in the first hangar by the entrance.

ANW, thanks very much. Had a walk around RV12 G-CGVD this afternoon and it answered several of my questions! I left my card tucked under the canopy cover - didn't have a pen handy to leave a message so if you know the owner, please tell him it's a beautiful aircraft and has helped me see where I'm going with my project.

Isn't Pprune wonderful :-)
