Hello Aviators. Looking for some recomendations as to somewhere to grab a beverage in HKG. Bluntly want to avoid hooker bars so somewhere mostly Western. Assuming they are mutually exclusive. Maybe not. Either way, where should a fella in his thirties grab a drink. Also, hotels in the same/similar area for a reasonable stumble.

Wanchai area, Fenwicks.........It's a fantastic place HKG, I love it!, but visit and don't live there, and that makes a difference!

Hollywood Road area. A lot of decent bars and as far as I can recall not a hooker in sight.

Dusk til Dawn. Perfect for a quiet beer:)

Is the Canny Mans still open?

The Dublin Jack is no longer under the escalator; hasn't been for years. Fenwicks is now called Escape. You can not avoid hookers as it is a hooker club.

The Canny Man is still there.

You could drink nearly anywhere in TST / Knutsford area, SoHo, Wyndeham Street, Hollywood Rd., LKF and more or less avoid most of the hookers. But not all.

Wanchai - still colourful.
