I am currently a student helicopter pilot here in Dallas and my wife is going through IFOD (Institude of Flight Ops and Dispatch) school here. We are hoping to get jobs in the same area and are having trouble finding companies that offer dispatch services. We have already discovered JsFirm and a few other basic/general job sources but are open to any advice.

Does anyone know a good method of finding dispatch companies, getting in front of dispatch companies, or any credentials that would give her a competitive edge at getting in the field?

Thank you for any help you can provide!

indeed.com is a good job resource - type in aircraft dispatcher, flight dispatcher, or flight follower and that will show the results.

Dear Sir,

You can subscribe to Pilot Jobs, Aviation Jobs, Aviation Employment, Job Fairs, Career Fairs (http://www.climbto350.com) ($59) and they have many pilot jobs and dispatcher jobs. Also, the ADX (Aircraft dispatchers website, adx.org (http://www.adx.org)) has job listings, as does NBAA (for corporate dispatchers).

In the Texas area, I know that Southwest Airlines is hiring dispatchers. So are Ryan International Airlines, JetBlue, Republic Airlines, and some East Coast Operators. FlightSafety International is hiring dispatcher instructors also!

Happy Hunting!
