Hi guys. I have decided take my pursuit of a CPL to the other side of the pond, taking advantage of the lowers costs.

I have picked out two flight schools in the Boston area: Horizon Aviation, and East Coast Aero Club. I have decided to use their Norwood bases, as that is near to where my father now lives.

I was hoping there are people out there that have attended these school, and if they could tell me of their experiences training there.

I did my FAA PPL (A) with East Coast Aero Club in 2010, not in Norwood but in Bedford. They are friendly people, well organized, good instructors and very well maintained aircraft. So yes would recommend them.

I don't know anything about Horizon.

East Coast Aero Club appear to be a Part 61 School - according to their website - so you wont be able to get the appropriate visa paperwork from them -assuming that you are a non US citizen/Permanent Resident.
