I know I'm 10 years late in asking but this question relates to the ITVV video of Virgin Atlantic flight EGLL to KSFO. One of the waypoints was W015, about 170nm south of Iceland but I can't find any reference to this waypoint. Does anyone have any information about it?

15 West? But position you point out is a long way from 15 west though. Just my tuppence. Welcome to prune!

Thanks for the welcome.I double checked and proved conclusively that longitude line 15ºW passes through the eastern part of Iceland. Based on what I could see from the video, W015 seems close to, or identical to waypoint 6315N in the current AIRACS Cycle. If so, then I wonder why 6315N wasn't used as the waypoint unless it wasn't in the databases 12 years ago, when the video was made.
